St Arnaud Trotting Cup

Winning mares

2006 Countessa Hess
2008 Sunny Elegant

While COUNTESSA HESS (Earl, $157,000) has just had one foal on the ground, Aldebaran Thor (Skyvalley, yet to debut), 2008 winner SUNNY ELEGANT (Sundon, $102,000) has a prestigious line building.

While her latest foal was a 2020 colt by Up And Quick, she is already a granddam. Her daughter Sunny Imperial (Pegasus Spur) is the dam of exciting young trotter On Advice (Sebastian K, $56,000, TR1:54.5), a 2019 Andover Hall colt and another daughter, Pegasus Elegance (Pegasus Spur, $128,000), served in 2020 by Majestic Son.
