The 2021 Australian Pacing Gold Melbourne yearling sale will be held at Oaklands Junction on Sunday following the Australian Premier Trotting Sale.
The sale comprises 101 lots by 24 different stallions including champion sires Bettor’s Delight, Art Major, Cpataintreacherous, American Ideal, Rock N Roll Heaven, Sweet Lou and Sportswriter.
Emerging sires Always B Miki, Betting Line, A Rocknroll Dance, Hes Watching and Yankee Rockstar are strongly represented, while the American breds Downbytheseaside and Huntsville and the outstanding locals Lennytheshark, Vincent and Jilliby Kung Fu will have their first crop at the sale.
There’s siblings to a host of stars including Petacular, Heaven Rocks, Ideal For Real, Soho Burning Love, Bondi Lockdown, Im Smouldering, Life Inthefastlane, Stars Align, Border Control, Mirragon, Sirletic, Soho Highroller, Stroke Of Luck, Nathan’s Courage and the Little Brown Jug winner Big Bad John.
Yearlings are eligible for the APG Bullion Series with $150,000 finals for two-year-olds and $100,000 finals for three-year-olds. They are also eligible for the Breeders Crown, Vicbred and Vcbred Platinum, NSW Breeders Challenge, Bathurst Gold Crown and Tasbred.
