After a record breaking day at the APG Brisbane Sale the harness racing world will now fix its attention to the sale that may deliver the next race track superstar.

Insightful breeders in the south have a happy knack of matching the world's best stallions over the correct mares from the leading families in the southern hemisphere.

Lot 230 Huntsville – Moremi Miss – Blissfull Hall

The first crop of Huntsville went through the Lexington yearling sale in 2020 and to be frank they were a smash hit. Huntsville averages an amazing $62,143 for his progeny (third leading sire on average behind Somebeachsomewhere and Captain Treacherous) and outsold Always B Miki, Bettors Delight and a host of other very good stallions.

Blissfull Hall, the broodmare sire in question for this lot, has already proven to work with sires on the Volomite line through Direct Scooter. A great example of this is J C Onthebeach - winner of $431,750.

Lot 232 Sweet Lou – Murganella – Bettors Delight

I can’t wait to view this lot as it ticks so many boxes. Prepared by the best in the business, Annie Dalton, buyers will be able to bid with confidence as Annie has led the way for preparers for more years than she can remember.

Sweet Lou is a multiple world record holder and exceptional speed machine! Sweet Lou has made a stellar start to his stallion career both in the northern and down here in the southern hemisphere. He was crowned the leading first season sire in both New Zealand and Australia in the 2018/19 season. His daughter’s Sweet On Me and Double Expresso were the two leading 2YO fillies in Australasia.

The Breeders Crown and Kentucky Sires Stakes winner Dancin Lou $1,119,848 has the same cross as the lot above, and is also from a mare who was by a Meadow Skipper through Cam Fella line sire.

Lot 234 Art Major – Nosotros – Albert Albert

A full sister to the Stars Align, winner of $463,225, this cross of Art Major over Albert Albert has had some staggering results over time and we are expecting this lot to generate some serious interest this weekend. Nosotros is from the mighty U30 family, with other family members being:
