The influence of French sire LOVE YOU in Australia this season has been awesome.
He has had more two-year-old winners this season than any other trotting stallion in Australia after dominating in New Zealand for multiple years.
The Haras de Trotteurs stallion is also the number one sire of three-year-olds.
Love You’s prominence will be on show at Redwood Day at Maryborough on Sunday, October 31 - one of the biggest days for trotters on the Australasian harness racing calendar.
He has four of his progeny engaged in each of the Group 1 feature races - the $50,000 REDWOOD CLASSIC for two-year-olds and 3yo blue ribbon event $75,000 CLASSIC CONNECTION @ HARAS DES TROTTEURS VICTORIA TROTTERS DERBY FINAL.

TOUGH LOVE, HIGH ON LOVE NZ, KYVALLEY PICASSO NZ and KEAYANG CHUCKEY are in the hand-picked Redwood, while LOCKSLEY LOVER, CENTRAL OTAGO, PARISIAN ARTISTE and SWEET ON YOU each qualified for the Vic Derby via the heats.
In addition, another Derby runner Kyvalley Hotspur NZ is out of Love You mare LOVE YA DOOSIE NZ and Redwood starters Stingofawasp is by Finnish-bred sire KVINTET AVENGER – a son of Love You – and EDS DREAM is by DREAMCATCHER Swe, another son of Love You.
As well as Love You, the Haras des Trotteurs stallion roster is represented by QUAKER JET, USED TO ME, DREAMCATCHER, ORLANDO VICI and BRILLANTISSIME at Sunday’s meeting.
